HOW IT WORKS
During the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment procedure, a cooling gel will first be applied to the treatment area. This gel serves a dual purpose by safeguarding your skin and enhancing the penetration of light. The IPL device is precisely configured to the settings that align with your specific skin concerns.
The device is then gently positioned against your skin, and it emits short bursts of broad-spectrum light. This light energy is selectively absorbed by particular target areas within the skin, such as melanin in dark spots. As the light energy encounters these target areas, it undergoes a conversion into heat, primarily upon interaction with the designated pigment or blood vessels.
This localised heat serves to damage or eliminate the targeted cells while leaving the surrounding skin mostly unharmed. This systematic process is instrumental in diminishing the appearance of pigmentation irregularities and addressing vascular conditions.
